America's greatest automobile museums

Great article/list, Bruce. I've been to a few already and looks like we will be seeing a couple more on our trip to PA in June!! Anitque Autos of America in Hershey, PA and the Rolls-Royce Museum in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The MM's need to schedule a trip to the Gilmore Museum in the near future!!

I was thinking the same thing, Cubby. :rocker:

I was hoping for a SPRING DRIVE this year. Maybe a trip to the Gilmore Museum would be fun, huh?

The Gilmore Museum is really nice. They have 9 historic barns full of beautiful cars. The Tucker Museum is in one of the buildings.

A spring trip to Gilmore sounds like something Coach and I would be up for. Also would consider adding to the Detroit race weekend trip.

We took in the Saratoga museum last spring. Smaller but beautifully laid out - we saw an outstanding assembly of rare Italian cars. If interested check the web site, because they rotate theme based shows two or three times a year. I also saw where Cadillac is the featured marque for their Invitational May 20.

I am in the Reno area and visit Harrahs National Automobile Museum quite frequently. Their collection and the way they have it set up is quite amazing.

I think it would make a great west coast drive / meet.
