Why pay more,,,,,

For $63,,,, it's probably a snake oil purchase......

Well, Zaino doesn't make a wax, per se

Zaino is a polymer sealing treatment.

Wax is old school. The only comparison is when both are newly-applied. Within two weeks, the wax treated car needs to be re-done; the Zaino car has at least 5 1/2 months of the same shine (after washing) left.

I'm always open to something better. In twelve years of Zaino use, I have yet to find it.

The best of both worlds is the Zaino treatment with a coat of carnauba as a topper. In a couple of weeks the wax is gone, but the Zaino is still there. I've done that a couple of times for car shows. Anyone still using plain carnauba wax and nothing else is wasting a lot of time with multiple applications over a year's time. I've even used Meguiars spray detailer over Zaino with good results cause I like the smell

I know what you mean. I experimented with a layer of carnuba over Zaino and it was shiny (without a glossmeter, that was subjective) but my issue with wax is it retains small particles more so than polymers, and it's those small particles that create scratching during occasional wipe-downs with the gloss enhancer. The polymers can keep particles on the clear coat too, it's just not as heavy as what wax does, so I stick with the full range of Zaino products. Their Clear Seal really boosts the shine and is simple and quick to apply.
