I was thinking that SA was taking the place of Bowling Green?

There was no Bowling Green planned for this year. With the end of XLR production and the financial assistance from Cadillac, it would not make much sense to plan a trip there.

We had two good visits to Bowling Green and with the assistance of the plant and Cadillac, the trips were fun and informative. But after planning those trips in two consective years, it didn't make much sense to try it for a third year in a row. Most interested forum members had made one or both trips already and it seemed like time to do something else.

Jean and I had done Rendezvous I, II and III and decided that we would take a break. I am glad that the Professor stepped in and decided to organize a get together in San Antonio. This time we get to attend one as attendees and have more time for fun and relaxation.

We took a vote and decided to go to San Antonio instead of Bowling Green.
