Driver side window noise

"Rolled" my driver and passenger side windows down this afternoon while pairing the visor remote to my new garage door opener. When I triggered the close my driver side window screeched at me as if it was binding on something going up, but it continued to the top and set. I dropped her again with no issue as normal but then it screeched again on the close. Any ideas as to what my issue could be? This has never happened before. The door was slightly open at the time but can't see how/why that would've made a difference. Appreciate any suggestions... TIA

It sounds like a binding issue with the window mechanism. But . . . to understand the problem, remove the inner door panel and visually inspect what's going on while you operate the window in raise and lower modes.

I had the same problem first of the year. New window regulator solved it. Dealer charged 800$. My pass side is starting to do the same thing.
