After a year or so it was finally time to have the 2009 exhaust bezel installed. The rear bumper had to be removed and some tweaking of the cut off tail pipes. Once you start there's no going back so cut once and measure twice.

I wasn't sure just how much of a gap the OEM was so I opt for a finger width (visually it looked about right). I can raise the bezel a bit more but for now I okay with it.

The hard part of the installation was the Modification of the tail pipes. The width between the two tail pipes is about 15" but the maximum width of the bezel opening was 14"

(Now Modified to 14").

So, the inside of the two tail pipes were cut in a pie like section. This allowed for bending the pipes 1/2" per side inward. I'll need to now have the small area welded (not at this shop but later).

Removal of the protective film. I now need to find a single exhaust pipe (for a better sound and weld one end to the cut pipe and allow the distal end fit inside the exhaust bezel.

Picked up the parts for the rear sway bar from the XLRV. I hope to have the bar installed next week.

After several years it's time to buy another set of run flats. These tires I've had since 2015 I think [emoji189] and now I have over 78,000 on the odometer and it's down to the wear bar in the rear.

Nearly 50,000 miles later; its getting time for replacement tires. In the meantime I've enjoyed every mile on them.

I had Goodyear tires, I had Michelin tires, now I have BF Goodrich and I love these tires better than any of the other. And cost way less!!!

OK, Mad-wheel-man, more pictures and details, as requested.

First the wheel spec's
- Front 20 X 9 with 47mm offset
- Back 20 X 10 with 47 mm offset (yes, this makes them stick out for a wider stance than stock)

The side view, with top up

Front tire turn clearance - no rub, barely

Hope this gives you the details you were looking for...:D

Awesome pics & spec what tire sizes are you running ?

HRE re-tweaked the wheel a bit. On the first test the wheel tuck outside the body by 1/4", but now it's right on the lip.:blinzel:

As you can see; the wheel is right on the money.

I'm not seeing any pics?! Ugh!

just a note on installing the fender vents .This is not the way to do them . You remove way to much of the support for them. Plus they did not install the upper and lower retainer clips. I have photos and a template should anyone want to install a set

Thanks. I wish I had the info prior to having mine installed for if I did-I would've gone that route. However, mine are still mounted w/o any issues and it's been 2-4 yrs.

Sorry folks about the deleted pictures. A lot has changed since installing the HREs. After several years of usage and two sets I now sport 275/30 Michelin sport tires (they are not run flats).
