Looks like a great site, I think I might have a few hours of reading ahead of me now.

Welcome to the site!! Great to see another ALL BLACK XLR in the group. In your reading - check out the POWDER COATING Brakes thread - it looks GREAT with a black car. Also, take a look at the events section - there are several opportunities to join many of us for a great time (check out the Central Pennsylvania trip in June and Bobfest - in conjunction with MidAmerica Motorwork's Funfest, in Sept).

Beautiful car, Doug! :rocker:

Welcome to a great forum and to XLR ownership!

Did You get it at Craig & Landreth?

I found it there but worked a trade deal with my local Chev. dealer and he got it in for me. Are you from the area, can you give me any more info I may not have figured out on my car ??

I live in Prospect, KY. Either I or this forum can answer every question you can think of... I had a 2004 that was plagued with issues and this site was a life saver. I now have a problem free 2006...

I have a great detail/customizing guy in Louisville, if you need anything done.

You can message me anytime through facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Divejunky?ref=tn_tnmn

Tip 1: Pretend your car does not have a navigation system and buy one to keep in your glovebox... The stock one is frustrating and useless.

Welcome to forum.

Thanks, Southern In. = Madison in my case. Doug...

Several of us have made the trip down to Madison for our Fall Drives. Great! - now we all have a place to stay the next time we all venture down there. :chuckle

Check out some of our Fall Drive threads - some great pictures of about 6 - 10 XLR invading Madison over the last few years.

Beautiful area down there.

Wow, that would be fun, I can easily make all the arrangments next time Madison is on the radar. I live right on the hill side overlooking downtown for anyone familiar with Madison.

Welcome to the XLR Net Doug.

Love the black XLR with black wheels!!

Welcome Doug, we really enjoy the town of Madison, one of our favorite places. There are some awesome driving roads.:rocker:

Here's a link to some or pictures from our trip to Madison 2010;

Looks like a great group of people, would love to join in for a ride sometime. Has the group ever went to the "overlook " resturant in Levinworth Indiana. It is on 64 outside New Albany going towards St, Louis then south to the river.

I live on the hillside half way up and down the hill that leads to middle downtown Madison so I drive them every day, the XLR does make it more fun though. I have lived here 26 of my 47 years now and still never tire of Madison, 1 hour from anywhere and in the middle of nowhere.
