I've been going through some old boxes and envelopes looking for documents associated with my 66 GTO, the GreaT One.

Here's an interesting item I came across. It's from 1974, when most of us were sitting in line to buy a tank of gasoline. The station from which I purchased most of my gas put out this schedule to their regular customers. This way, you knew when he would be open for gas sales and not have to hunt for an open station.

Remember?

Yep. My friends and I would go an hour before the pumps turned on, park by a pump and go next door to the Burger King to wait.

Gas at $1 per gallon? Outrageous.

40 years later and still got plenty of gas and more gas holes to fill!
