Touch screen tilting for no reason

Occasionally my touch screen will tilt out for no reason. It will beep twice every ten seconds and will eventually retract. I'm sure there is a way to retract it but I can't find anything about it in the owner's manual.

What's causing it and how do I prevent it?

Have your battery checked, i also experienced the same issue and it was due to low voltage. Our cars do funny and weird things when the battery voltage is low.
