Pheasant Run is only 40 minutes from us ... Devin and I would love to attend. Sure would like to meet up with anyone from XLR-NET. You and Kathy planning on coming out?

I just joined the local vette club last night (only as an "Associate Member", since I don't own a Corvette)... I think they are going (but I don't think I can park in the Corvette Club parking with them since I don't have a 'vette). Let me know who else plans on going. I think Sat or Sun look like good days to go for us. Hope others can make it.

Quinn sent me an email yesterday about it, they are planning on going and we will probably go up and meet them--Sat. or Sun. Maybe the MM's can get together up there and then go have dinner afterwards somewhere.

I have a commitment that weekend. If that changes, I'd come up for a day. Probably come into DuPage Apt on Saturday and come over.

Looks like the majority is in favor of Saturday. Perhaps Whit & Karen can join us in the morning/early afternoon before their other plans. Hopefully all these scattered thunderstorms will stay away; I'm getting tired of washing Scarlett-V every other day--she's starting to wrinkle from being in the water so much!

I've looked at the week forecast and looks like the rain is early this week, then Thurs/Fri/Sat look sunny (Sat being high 93). Sunday just shows clouds, not sure of any precipitation estimates.
Do we want to all meet at one local gathering and show up to Bloomington Gold as a group? Who all do we have meeting there Saturday?

It would be nice to meet up before hand if possible and then drive in and park together. Kathy & I will probably stop by Cubby and Marion's place on the way up on Saturday morning. The earlier we get there the better with the heat.

Hey Bruce, there is a large mall just west of Pheasant Run Resort (Charlestown Mall - 3810 E Main St, St Charles) that might be a good place to meet before heading over to Bloomington Gold. The mall is on the North side of Rt 64 (Main St), Pheasant Run is on the South side of Rt 64. We can meet in the southeast parking area of the mall if you want. If that's ok, just let me know what time you think you will all be there. Can't wait to see you guys again.

Hey Kevin,

Yes, Marion is correct, we will be coming down by car. (but we'll be "flying" anyway)

DuPage County Airport makes more sense to meet (forgot about that). I will probably take I-94/294 to I-90 (head west on I-90 due to Rt 53 having construction). I will then pick up I-290/I-355 south to Rt 64.

We are waiting to hear when Bruce & Kathy will arrive at our house, and then we will trek up to St. Charles. We are planning on being up there early, (probably around 9:00am) to beat some of the heat; forecast calls for 90's. I think Quinn & Diamond Del are coming down as well, so we should have a good group. I'll PM you with my cell number so we can keep in touch. See you Saturday!!
