Where did you find this grill it looks like a mix between the Mesh and the plastic lines like my 2005 grill, wonder if it will fit my 2005, also where did you find it and how much $$

Upgraded to 2009 parts after the accident (why not, right?). Car was partly repainted; hood, front & rear bumper, left side mirror, roof, driver's side front fender. New dash and some interior, but with 2007 (2009 was nearly 1k so I passed). Car should be ready next week and I can't wait! It took a bit longer for the 2009 parts for are very hard to find so you pay a mint for them.

I trust you didn't get hurt, or at least I hope you didn't. The car looks really sharp. Did you have to replace the headlights and if so where did they come from or did the insurance company get them for you?
A few years back my wife and I on our way to a Cars & Coffee near Salem OR in our 2000 XK8 Jaguar, got run off of the road by a woman as I was passing her. We hit a ditch nose first, flipped and rolled 3 times. The Jaguar was totaled. Fifteen minutes before all of this I had just washed it after coming home from working the midnight shift.
There wasn't one area on that Jag that didn't have a dent in it. I couldn't believe it. Good thing for seat belts, we ended up upside down when all was over with. The doors had flown open and the driver's door got rolled onto and the 'A' pilar crushed in and cut my scalp to the bone from over my left eye over to my right side, all the way to the back of my head then made a left and ended up stopping on the left side of the hair crown.
The XLR replaced the Jag. I really liked the lines of the Jag and it did have some nice features except for the seats. They were terrible to be kind.
The XLR has it all over the Jag. The tires last longer, more options and it's a hardtop roadster, what more can you ask for!!

Pick-up is scheduled for tomorrow. Still a few items left to attach to the car, but I'm hopeful
The car suffered little damage from the accident and I'm okay. Trust me. I don't wish what had happened to me on anybody, but accidents do happen and you have to live with it. That said, instead of having the car repaired with the same 2007 OEM parts I felt it better to upgrade even though it was going to take some time. I've always loved the 2009 model and the V especially. It also voids the memory of the crash too by upgrading. I'm not 100% sure if I'll opt for the exhaust tips. The tips are pricey and I could just wait until summer. Right now, I just want to drive my XLR and enjoy the moment.

Somebody had inquired about the parts. The shop searched around various states and somehow they found what I was looking for. I supplied them with the specs and numbers and let them have at it.

Well, a few items needed some TLC so the car won't be out of the shop until next week or so. The windshield repair guy has to install the mirror and other components on the inside. The front hood grill piece needs installing, and a few other items. The paint was wet sanded and buffed. Here's a few pics the shop sent me. Enjoy

Prior to the shop installing the front lower grill they accidentally purchased the V-series grill.
