Here's where I start to make friends:

I'm home safe and sound, but there's a stranger in my house. Do I need to change my avatar?

Thanks to Bruce and Chris at Lockhart Cadillac for taking care of my baby for me and getting her back to new, thanks to the folks at Enterprise for changing the very'abused Dodge Charger for a new Chevy HHR, and thanks to CornDog for feeding and housing me! See you all in a couple of weeks or so!!!!

Rich, it was great to see you and George today. The doughnuts really brightened my day. Hopefully we will have Misty back to you real soon.

PS to everyone who didn't get donuts in person - I'm sorry, but they never even made it to my doorstep! Burp! They were good, though!

Marc & Kris weren't at work when I stopped by - I thought about leaving them on the windshield of Missy Bling's BEYOOOOOTIFUL new Camaro that was parked out front, but decided to wait for them instead. Pictures just don't do it justice!!!!

PPS In spite of Marc's reputation of being a jokester, I would have left them in the box, not strewn all over the windshield!

Haha, very funny .... I did not see your "friend" until the 2nd time through the pictures .... I was sort of focused on those DOUGHNUTS!

That toolbox is SICK! My gosh, is there a guy on this forum who wouldn't love to have that in their garage?

Really good pictures Rich - they told a fun story. Now, if you just would have had one with the donut box on Marc's car ... :D :reddevil

BTW - THAT car does not look right in your garage. DO NOT show this picture to Misti.

It was great to see you my friend, wish we could have done lunch or dinner! Maybe next time and you can ride in Daisy! :D

OK - when I come down for the Madison trip, I better get a doughnut or I will be REALLY UPSET!

You & Julia need to come down on friday night and we can stop at Long's on Saturday leaving for Madison. :):) I'm still cleaning glaze out of my Expedition from the winter trip.:laugh:

I've never even heard of Long's donuts, and you have my mouth watering... are they anything like Krispy Kreme's??

I have had Long's and Krispy Kreme's IMO Long's is better than Krispy Kreme's. Besides the good donuts the signs are worth the going in there. :chuckle

Watching a special on the Food Network about donuts .... yummmmm.

Mar ... Krispy Cream's opened here about 8 years ago ... but was a big flop. Now I don't even know if there is even one shop left. We used to have Dunkin' Donuts .... but they didn't make it here either and there is none in all of San Diego County. We have some mom & pop stores around here, but nothing to write home about. Now ... Mexican food is a different story ... on a 2 mile stretch of Mission Gorge Ave where I live there is at the least, 10 different places (take out/drive thru's and sit down) ... rolled tacos are our donuts ... lol Oh ... and Starbucks! There are 3 within spitting distance. (Uck .. I hate their coffee).

I don't think any of the Krispy Creams are open around here either. We do still have Dunkin Dounuts.

Got such a desire for donuts after talking about them, that I bought a box of Entemans' (sp) and ate 2!

We had a Krispy Kreme here for about a year... then it turned into a casino.
