Removing trunk area interior trim driver's side

Hey

OK Title says it all. Anyone here have the procedure for doing so? Need to get to the deck lid lift support, for removal.

Mike (hubby, fixed mine) said he folded the carpet back on the drivers side, took off the removable cover under that that is over the hydraulics, exposing the top of the hydraulic pump. Then he just angled himself so he could see the bottom of the lift & used a long flat head screw driver to pop the clip off to remove the old lift, and installed the bottom of the new lift first.

I posted a less detailed description elsewhere on here & someone jumped in with a different way. Maybe they’ll do so again. The above worked for us, hope it helps.
