stability question

The last couple days now. when i first start to drive the car in the morning, then go around the first curve. My stability traction control displays a warning on the info screen. But by the time i hear the beep and look down i only have seconds to see it before the words leave the screen. So should i be worried? Do i need to take her in for a check up?

Guy check the manual I don't think it is serious issue my has done that before to. I think it stabilizing the system from cornering or something I believe this is what causes it!

I had the exact same thing happen, in the exact same way (shortly after I drove off) right after I got my XLR. It freaked me out so I researched it. The bad news is I don't remember exactly what I found, but the good news is I figured out it was nothing to worry about.

Sounds like one of your ABS/TC sensors is going bad or has a poor connection somewhere. Unfortunately, if its a bad sensor you'll have to replace the wheel hub bearing assembly to fix.

I have had a long-standing battle with Timken on the wheel hub bearings. I had a similar problem, was intermittent as yours for a while then happened every day. I replaced all 4 of my hubs with Timken lifetime warranty hubs and three of the 7 I've received to date were also bad, i.e., the sensors threw codes immediately within the first mile on the car. Evidently our cars have much closer tolerances on the ABS/TC than the Vettes. I figure I'll get 4-5 autocrosses out of the current set and will have to do it again. I keep 2 spares on the shelf so as long as they honor the warranty I'm good.

Are you a two footed driver? My car has thrown so many T/C codes in 6 years that I stopped counting. If going around a corner and you brake with foot pressure on the accelerator the light will come on. Just stop and restart to get light off. I have had two accidents while that light was lit and the ABS just locked up and slid. DON'T trust it while the light is on. I'm actually on here today to see if anyone has noticed bad braking when the light is lit. Some one told me that my fuse for the ABS might be blown and that's why my car just slid into the car in front of me.
