Trunk Ajar Message

Just traded in my 2005 XLR for a 2008. While I understand there are some slight changes under the skin between the models here is what I am experiencing and this DID NOT happen on my 2005.

When I put the top up or down I get a TRUNK AJAR message during the transition. This did not occur on my 2005. I was curious if this was something new for the 2008 or if I should have it looked at as it is still under the original warranty.

This is normal on my '06 V. I don't think it is anything for you to worry about.

Happens on my XLR also. I think whenever the trunk is open, this message comes on in the DIC...
