Welcome to the Cadillac XLR Forums!

Do you see XLRs??

Saw an Infrared XLR in Waxahachie, TX. I was a bit surprised, I haven't seen one down here before.

Who'd have thought?

Was chatting w/ a golf buddy, at the Pueblo West Desert Hawk GC, and a nice guy in a YUGE truck stopped by and asked me what year my XLR was. Turned out, he also has a '06 base (blue) and he also loves it. We chatted for a few minutes, and he took off, but not before leaving me his business card. :blinzel:

I sent him an email, and referenced this site as a "must see" for him. Hope he does.

IDK if someone was trying to make a joke or what. But saw this stopped next to a cannon and swards man. I guess he wanted to fire the cannon and blow up his/her Xlr.

So I'm walking my dog around the neighborhood this morning and just around the corner from my house I see this guy just sitting right here. Other than the Corsa exhaust in the hood emblem modification it looks to be pretty stock.

Just had to click Dislike for the hood emblem :( oh well, to each their own.
Suffice to say it's not my cup 'o tea ! :beerchug:

Thumbs down on the hood ornament for one, and the car is in dire need of a detail job. Just look at the windshield!

Yep right along with the rest of the gang gotta agree, trash that hood ornament and clean that sweet ride up! This is how Roxy Rolls....all Shined Up!

Cool car dislike the emblem on the hood. Distracts from the car.

Every caddy I've owned had a stand up hood ornament except for my '98 ETC, '01 DTS and my XLR. My 92, 96 and 98 deVille's actually had a little wire running from the hood ornament to the horn in case someone tried to rip it off!

Knoxville Tennessee....

No photo, 6:20 pm tonight in Knoxville Tennessee on I-75/ I-40. It was 43 F out so I will forgive them for not having the top down. In the slow lane, a red one (yup: the fast ones) and I believe it was a lady driver - it was dark out and I only got a quick look at the driver as a pick up passed between us as we zipped by :burnout: in the fast lane. (the only section of the higwway that was actually moving thru Knoxville at the time) We were in our Grand Cherokee on our way back from The Great White North: my X is in North Port FL waiting for me!

Reporting from a hotel room in Lenoir Tennessee!

Mecum Auction

Today at the Mecum Auction there was this 04 with only 37,000 original miles. It was in real nice shape, a few scuffs on the nose/bumpers. I was hoping to see it go thru the auction but I missed it: it sold for $22,500.00 (plus 10% buyers premium).

I updated the info on the registery to reflect its sale.

This just popped up on one of the Facebook groups I follow for Cadillac Enthusiasts. I'm not quite sure what to say...15894580_1284388038274360_4004900478661486433_n.jpg
