2005 Xenon Blue XLR
Went to CarCraft 2011 in minnesota with the xlr, did the real street eliminator challenge which was the Launch Box(where you accelerate and brake into a box marked off by cones), Dyno, and Road Course
The launch box I managed a 4.5 sec time, which was better than a few mustang cobras that were out there.
The dyno the car ran 236 rwhp w/ 241 rwtq
The road course I ran the second fastest time of 46 seconds behind a vette
I had a great time, but after I dropped 46 seconds on the road course they looked at my tires and disqualified me for not having the right treadwear. I told them they should have caught it in the inspection, but i was out there to have fun, no big deal. Heres a few pics of the road course event, enjoy!

What was the tire spec. you missed??? Did they claim you tires were "shaved"? What, then?

theres a stamp on the tires that say treadwear 140, they need to say treadwear 200 or higher, im assuming the amount of tread that was originally on the tires when purchased. I'm not buggin, I had a blast and when I left the car in first and drove it hard I knocked 3 seconds off the clock and had everyone checking out my car. She looked good out there!

Yeah, that is pretty standard. In most motocross events, at least the larger ones, tread rating under 200 is considered "soft" and puts one in a higher "competition car" class. You must have been running in a "street' class. Or the event was restricted to street class only.
