Yep I saw that sign octet I was walking around. I was laughing at that too
But from appearance sake I really didn't see any major problems with it. I looked over at the drivers seat from the passenger side and thought I saw a hole in the cushion. But by the time I would've walked over. A big lightning bolt and heavier rain started coming down.

White XLR V on 99 freeway today

Well, it had to happen for it was meant to be. I saw a white Alpine XLRV today on 99 near Fowler California. Like the white whale I saw it clear as day from my rearview mirror. I waited until he was close enough then I rolled down my window and right before he got next to me I gave him the thumbs up. Boy, was I excited for I took several pictures as he strolled bye.

Frontage first time I saw a black XLR-V with the OEM wheels painted black today. Haven't seen V's with black wheels before, only base. Not on the interstate but unfortunately still missed him as he was stuck in a backup from a wreck, but going the opposite way from me. I still have yet to catch up with any of the few XLR's I've seen here!

I do see a nipple protuberance!

Funny that I didn't notice it before until now, but the picture of the Infared XLR I posted a few days ago appears to be a 2005? i say this because I think I see a "nipple protuberance" (borrowed from the Jerry Seinfeld episodes) on the trunk?

July is my month to "see"

Saw a black '09 on the interstate today, & if I saw correctly it's one of the '09's built *without* the fender vent (or maybe removed - never heard of anyone doing that though). I've seen more XLR's this month than EVER.

Best of all was the license plate: STUNR1.

Just returned home from 3 week, 3,500 mile vacation trip in our XLR...........seen one red, XLR,,,top down, in Lincoln, NE.


Also, one CD stuck in dash unit......Ugggg!

Just be happy your home I get an error message every time I exchange CD's but have found if I ignore it and press another CD for music it corrects itself. My suggestion would be to take the face plate off to see if your could grab it with something. Plate should pop off (don't bend or scratch it) or ask someone to check how to take it off on this site.

Finally saw the red XLR that's been running around town at a time where I could follow him, stop and visit awhile. It's an '09, said he could possibly meet up with us at the Winery on Wednesday evening...

Thanks for the suggestion Standby-V.... Tried pressing for other CD to play, but no go. Did get the other three CDs to eject finally, but the original one first loaded and played by itself,,, still will not play or eject. I found this video on YouTube,

but decided this was over my electronic repair skill level. I could probably get it apart, but doubt that I'd ever get it back together again to work.

Awesome Black/Black XLR in Brevard County, Florida

Yesterday I was at the Brevard County Courthouse, Viera, Florida and saw a
Black XLR with black interior parked in the lot. It was polished to an amazing ebony glow
and sporting a V front grill. The car had local Brevard County tags so must be close to home.

Very nicely polished. Pretty impressive for a black one…..

At my dealership. They just acquired a 2004 (wart) they have it listed (from the build sheet) as crimson peal (86u) shale leather (152 ) and shale interior trim (151) There is a small rip on the drivers seat right in the cooling/heated seat vents/holes So that needs to be repaired. I didn't see this until the salesman dropped the top and put the rest of their paperwork in like warranty There is some minor scuffs but he thinks they can be buffed out.

The porter just took pics on it and putting it up on fieldscadillac website.

. My salesman also printed out the info for this car and mine.

2007 Black - Platinum Edition

I had seen this Black Platinum Editon with non run flat VOGUE tires a few times while I was at work but was never in a position to catch and chat with this guy. I finally caught him, a really nice guy named Clayton... Found him to be shocked and excited to learn we have this beautiful site for us to visit and grow more knowledgable about our vehicles. I too need to acquire some XLR cards...

Nice.... Hey, in pic #3 is the exhaust bent or is it just the angle? Hope they correct that before new owners snatch it up. They shouldn't have to foot that bill.

Here is the Interrior. Someone already has looked at the car. So they told my salesman that he'll be back later. Now that the top is off, I can tell the difference on the dash, the center column and the behind the seat where mine is black and this one is a light tan to brown color. The sales guy told me he thinks this will be sold in a week or less. But after really looking over it more closely. I noticed some scuff marks on the drivers side rear panel, and my sales guy pointed out a big tear in the drivers seat. The previous owner reason for selling it or trading it in was his golf clubs and now since he's a grandparent. His grand kids wouldn't fit it the car. From a distance it tools like he took nice care of it. But up close there are minor imperfections
