how tough is the northstar

Not finding the info i'm looking for. Whats the compression ratio of the 4.6 in the xlr? Are the crank, rods, or pistons forged or all cast? Return type fuel system , or returnless? I'm looking into the possibility of f.i. or even nitrous on these cars. Thanks for any help. I'm sure I'll have more questions, I can't leave anything alone for long

Forged steel crankshaft, cast aluminum block and heads.
Returnless fuel system.
