Made it home today (Monday) about 4PM after a nights stay in Cheyenne. Pretty routine drive, except for the one dummy that tried to switch lanes while I was beside him! Thanks Rod & Cindy for a wonderful trip!! Had a great time! MT, WY, and Yellowstone are great places! Who'd ever thought that we'd be meeting David & Pat North? What a gracious couple! Seeing all the notes, looks like everyone made it home. Hope to see everyone on another trip some time soon!

Chad & Rogene

Glad everyone made it home safe... good thing you're a conscientious driver, Chad. Sounds like you had a close call!!! Anyway, more pics to come, maybe this evening. Would have posted most last night, but was DEAD TIRED... in bed at 9 PM; unheard of around this house!!!

  Imagine that!!! :chuckle I can see why you're tired!! We had a busy week!!

PS, I slept great last night too! In my own bed!!

For the number cruncher of us.

Just some numbers from the MT trip. I logged in 3,265 miles and used 142.5 gal of gas. Which means I got an average of 22.9 MPG. Not bad for a car that we can have so much fun with!! And WE DID have a lot of fun!!

It sounds like every one had a great time, so disappointed we had to cancel; I felt especially bad as I know how much effort it takes to organize an event like this and we were looking forward to meeting you and any others we have not yet met.

Chad I'd like to do the same number crunching but, I have a slight problem. My trip odometer rolled over twice and I'm still more than 400 miles from home.
Does anyone know what mileage the trip odometer resets at? I'd be much appreciative for the information.
We had a great time with great people on the Rod's Mt Rocket Run the food was not too shabby either.

Few more pics...

A few more from the week of driving...
1 Original entrance to Yellowstone Park at Gardiner, MT
2 the group at Mammoth Hot Springs
4 A buck outside where we stopped for lunch in the park. Look real close in the center of the frame... quite camouflaged

From a high of 23 mpg ( Big Sky to Helena) to a low of 15 mpg ( Lovell to Billings) the average over the 2,635 miles was 19mpg, and burninng every last drop was a BLAST!!!!

Really enjoyed the pictures. Wish we could have made the trip - looks like it was a great time.
