I know I am not the only one watching reality tv. I am reality TV junkie. I thought it would be fun to have a thread that we can talk about the shows that we are watching. As of late I have been watching Big Brother 11, Hells Kitchen, and Addicted to Beauty. Oh and Jon & Kate plus 8 but we already have a thread for that.
For those of you that watch BB11 and Hell's Kitchen.
Hell's Kitchen I was happy to see Teck go bye bye. I think the winner this season is going to be a man. The men are constantly out performing the women.
BB11 the wizard power. No one knows Jeff has it and I think he will use it to pull off both the nomiees for eviction and put up Jessie and Natalie.
I know Madam watches these shows. What do you think? What other reality shows are you watching? :D

Oh, yeah .... you do some weird stuff when you retire ... including watching TV .... I have to laugh because I was always so busy working and kids and stuff, I never saw even one episode of Dallas, or anything in that era unless it had to do with the Partridge Family or something equally kid friendly. Now .... anything goes :pat:

I like reality shows the best - talk about a study of human nature ... :willy_nilly: ... I cannot believe how differently we all react to similar situations.

Big Brother is my current "fave" ...
I don't remember who called her a pit-bull, but wow, that little Natalie is certainly a little spit-fire as well as Chima .... I'd like to see both of this out the front door .... then they can work their way down there until the end when I hope Jeff wins.

Hmmmm, my other favorite new one to watch is Dating in the Dark. Where it finally proves that looks DO matter. It just depends on one's definition of attractive. It seems like the more handsome prefer the most attractive. Similar = similar.

Don't like watching Jon & Kate. He was always just another kid for her to tell what to do .... didn't seem like he was ever "ahead" of what needed to be done, but stood around until she had to tell him what to do. Like a kid. And then he would whine because she did. A little passive-agressive .... No wife wants to "mother" their husband. He needs to grow up and if 8 kids haven't done it, I don't know what will.

And there you have my two cents for whatever it is worth!

I agree with you about BB11 those two need to go. So does Jessie I didn't like him last season and I couldn't believe they brought him back. Thursday will be interesting. Jeff needs to use the power he has to shake up the game and put up the two I said. Can't put up Chima or Kevin.
I forgot I also started watching the Route 66 show. Then this week another show started called there goes the neighborhood. They put up a big wall around a neighbor hood and there is no power, no phones, basically nothing. It is kind of like big brother except it is an entire neighborhood. Then the have competitions where the family that wins gets an award and nominates two familys to be kicked out of the neighborhood. Then the rest of the families vote between the two. This one looks like alot of drama and people turning on one another. :D

We watch Survivor in the fall/winter. We have seen Dating in the Dark, that is funny. I watch the Bachelor and Bachelorette but Marc makes so many bratty comments I tape them and watch later. Pain in the #@$!!! And we like the American Idol (Favorite) and Americas got talent! Never watched Big Brother! And Jon and Kate never watched either, I hear he is just plain lazy and she is always yelling at him so did not sound like a show I wanted to watch. Too Stressful, I hate arguing! And I can not think of what else there is right now, we are gone traveling so much I would not see half of them anyways. You two just keep me informned, K? :D

Tonight Big Brother is on. Hopefully Jeff will shake the game up. :D

Last night the Octo mom thing was on. I am happy to post I did not watch it. :D Did anyone else?

Last night I watched the murders of the little boy and his grandparents in Guffey, Colo.. The three high school boys from Colorado Springs got caught and are now in prison. Monday I watched Dateline, the murder of Nancy Maison that took place in Chalk Creek, just North of Salida. Nancy's husband and the younger guy that was with them on there little holiday from Denver are living in Texas big time. I certainly hope the Judge will appoint a special prosecutor as the District Attorney is doing NOTHING to put the killers behind bars. What was wierd was seeing the people I have known for 38 years being interviewed on tv. The deputy sheriffs, the special investigator for the District Attorney and so forth. Now those programs to me are really Reality TV. Did anyone else see these programs???

I watched that show also. Primetime Crime on channel 7 in Chicago. I watched all you have mentioned. I like the Dateline and Prime Time when they do the ones like that. The crime shows. The one about the three boys in Guffey who did you believe. I believed the two boys that said the other boy was the ring leader and ordered them kill that boy and his grandparents. JMO. I thought about you when I was watching it.

I remember when all of these things happened but I had never seen pictures of the three boys. Absolutely the kid from South America was the ring leader and the boy that drove the car is the one that killed the grandparents. It was all so horrible and so many people are still suffering. There is still one more that will probably be made into a show, a lady in Salida, her boyfriend and another guy murdered her husband. They are all sitting in jail. What they did was beyond anyones worst imagination.

Now, Ruthie, remember I checked out only safe havens for everyone to stay in and told you which parts of town to stay away from. These murders did not happen in Colorado Springs. You also are bringing your very own 24 hour per day policeman. :):):) You will be safe.

I'm with RA on this one. You're making your area sound a bad as CHicago, Gary, In or Washington DC.:confused: I guess I'm going to be bringing the Beretta Storm on this trip!!!:D:D

These are old cases, 2004, so that is five years ago. At least we don't have any Indians looking for the pale face scalps anymore, we actually are very civilized now. Of course I always have two of my friends with me when I travel across the country, especially going to Calif., or Illinois.

I had no doubt that we wouldn't be safe ....
my preference on TV is just stuff that entertains ... I get so tired of "real life" ....
I've not known Ray to ever bring any "friends" with him when he travels out of state. Yeah ... he's a big boy .... I always feel well-protected.
