Would love to have everyone come to Colorado and see GODS COUNTRY. There is so much to see here, easy day trips out of Colorado Springs. The Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge, Cliff Dwelings, gambling at Cripple Creek Casinos and on and on. It is always cool at night and warm during the day and no humidity. We also have one of the very best Cadillac dealers in all the United States. What more can I say?:rocker::rocket:

Lot's of good places in Colorado. Estes Park would be good as well.

South Dakota still sounds good as well.

And don't forget, Pikes peak, Cave of the Winds. Does the Cave of the Winds still have the laser show at night? And when we were out there, we went thru some old gold mines.

Nice idea but we where talking Vegas next August so we could have Hans come to the party. This is another long drive from the west coast. I love your state but this road stuff is taking a toll on me and the V.

Maybe you should think about flying...less potholes.

Don't forget the tickets and the photo camera that Jaimie smiled at in Tuscan while looking for an exit for our motel at a big 65 mph. They have to deliver the ticket by an officer from the town it has bee taken in. Is that a knock on my door?

Looks like Colorado has a lot to offer.

I like Colorado. Sounds good to us.

If we timed it right, we could probably spend a day at Coors Field and watch a game .... :rocker: Baseball :patriot:, :beerchug: & :grouphug: ...
Okay, laundry is done, and Lola is clean ... we're ready!

I'm ready. It's never to early to plan. :)

Robert also used to be in the hotel business .... he has probably checked out all of them; so maybe he knows of something that would fit all our needs .... you know ... XLR parking and A BIG BAR! Yep .... that looks like a beautiful resort ... gorgeous .... now the question is .... can we sit by the pool? :chuckle

There is a resort that has bars, outside patio's, big parking lot, lots of nice rooms, a golf course, I think a pool. I attended a 90th birthday party there last July. I hear it is on the high price side but I can check it out for price, availability and all the other things. I will check to see if they have a web site. It is also in a very safe part of town, not far from where I live. It is right beside the country club my neighbor is a member of and I have had several meals there and pretty sure the golf club belongs to the country club. Will post info when I check it all out. The Broadmoor Hotel is a wonderful place to stay but I am not sure everyone would be able to afford it. Check out the Chyenne Mountain Resort. I will check prices at both. I think everyone would be more comfortable at the Chyenne Mountain Resort and yes it does have a pool.

OMG .... I hope clubs can be rented! I can't imagine having to pack around those too! (shhhhh, no one tell Ray.) :squint:

Actually they do fit in there quite nicely! I love to play golf, not good at it but do love it. Not with the men though they are to serious. I like to drive the cart, hit a few and drink a few.
