Wanting to have my seats recovered to something with a two-tone to sort of dress up what I consider a very bland interior.

Has anybody done anything along these lines? Would like to see some pics if you have.

Thanks,
Phil

I posted a while back I was about to have mine two-toned and even had an appointment with a guy to do it. I figured I would go with the darker brown that covers my dash and upper door panels. However, I started playing with photoshop and did not like the results and changed my mind. I would love to see what it looks like if anyone has done it.

Made an appointment today with the shop I use for interior work. Earliest he can take mine is October - so, we'll see next month what it can look like. Like you, I'd sure like to see what others have done before I put out the money!! If not, somebody has to go first I guess

You'd hardly be the first. I did V several years ago. This is the only pic I can find right now. Probably have more on my pc.

I'll post more when I find them.

Thanks Cubby - I didn't really think I'd be the first. I like what you did. I have something different in mind but this helps me envision what it can, and in my opinion should, be! The stock look is too much like "riding the bus"!! ha ha I don't care to "blend in"!:thumbsup

Thanks. The waterfall and center console, I ordered new parts in Ebony. The door panels were removed and then the armrests were removed and reupholstered. When the console was removed, I also had the side panels reupholstered as well. Everything on the seats that were shale, I.e. Seat speaker covers, seat memory & position panels were also ordered in Ebony and changed out.

Those look great Cubby. I like them. My upholsterer suggested the same thing you did with the waterfall/center console. Here, I can see how that looks. Thank you. This helps me with my ideas.

Did you dye or recover the arm rests on the doors/center console cover?

Wonder if the parts you note above can still be purchased? will look into that - would appreciate your source if you still have the info.

Thanks again,
Phil

Chubby that looks awesome! I am once again thinking about the two-tone having seen those pics. Great job on that seriously impressive upgrade.

I just last fall replaced the driver seat control panel as the old one cracked! That was shale color. From Gmpartsdirect.com

YES - more along the lines of what Cadillac SHOULD have done in a $75,000+ car!

They finally did offer it in the '09 Model year, however it didn't last long as we all know! Saw it in person in '08 at the Bowling Green Plant. That was my inspiration to do mine that winter, while it was in storage.

You still did it better. :thumbsup

OTHERS?????

Well, what we've seen looks really nice, but I'd sure like to see any other configurations some might have done.

LET'S SEE THOSE MODIFIED INTERIORS FOLKS

Here is another one I know of.
