XLR Ads

I got a catalog in 2003 from Neiman-Marcus that featured the XLR when it came out ..... I remember seeing that ad and thinking it was the most beautiful car I ever saw and thought ... wow .... if we had the money - that is the car I would want. Today, I went on to Ebay and found a copy of the catalog for about 12 bucks ..... I ordered it to keep with my John McCormick books (I actually have 2 of those) one was given to me as a gift and 1 was given to me when we went to Rendevous 2 in KY from the people at the factory. I have a few other advertisments - but was wondering if anyone knew of any other ads ... like, did National Geographic put one out?

Edit: I have been able to get the Motor Trend magazine from Oct 2003 ....... I would like to have that Eyes on Design poster .... next ;-)

I got mine from the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology PHONE (313) 824-4710 several years ago. Think it cost $20 or $30, shipped to me. Don't know if it's still available, but doesn't hurt to check..

Yea... but probably the WRONG red. I'm sure it's Crimson Pearl, not Infrared...

It's whatever red produced in 2004 .... the issue is the debut of the XLR.

Then it's Crimson Pearl... the lighter red. Infrared in the darker shade of red - which I prefer...

Agreed. I believe that your red, being an '06, is the same as mine - which would be infrared, the darker shade...
