Hi,in vol.2 of the factory shop manual on pages 9-70,71,75,78 the air bag fuse is marked as #16? it's #18 for air bags.the pic.of the under dash fuse panel is also wrong.not that strange as i have found mistakes in other manuals.the owners manual has the pic. and # correct.glad i caught this...

this is an update to my post in Dec. i found a mini spare from 04-06 gto works on xlr.i also use a late 90's deville jack.i take them with me on extended trips. :)

the gm listing for 04-05 gas cap is part #10372242 and 06-09 is 15832215,is the 06-09 # a updated/new cap to cure the faulty early caps.i think both will fit but wondering what the diff. is??:dunno: thanks,Al

after reading about loose rear axle nuts thought i'd check mine(05 35k mi) took 33mm deep socket and by hand could back both sides off!! removed same,cleaned threads w/small wire brush,put on threadlocker and torqued to 118lbs. as a note there was no evidence of threadlocker on axle or nuts? :D...
