Nice to have the gang in town!
It was so nice to see "the gang" again! Thanks to all of you that made the long drives! I hope everyone had a GREAT time.
I really enjoyed seeing Ruth Ann & Ray again. Ray was THE MAN on Saturday, coming to the aid of a woman who had fallen off her bicycle near the XLR tents due to dehydration & the heat. Ray was the first one to help & stayed with her until the ambulance arrived.
Marc did a wonderful job again this year with the tents & the arrangements @ the hotel. Cubby picked a great place to eat on Friday night.
We had 13 XLRs from 7 states! It was a lot of fun, hope to see you all again real soon.

The dinner that night - again - great fun .... Cubby, good choice on the restaurant - Cubby and Marc - thanks for setting up the taxi's .... I know we couldn't have driven back ..... Met almost the entire group that night at dinner - old friends, new friends ..... The New Chicago Gang, all the MM's ..... people from PA, and a Solo from FL who steals the hearts of all the women ... all the guys like you too .... no, not like THAT. Back to the bar and I believe my soul sister and Butch shut that down ....
The show was awesome .... loved the whole experience .... here comes my Photo Girl, Bruce and Jeannie ..... we never get enough time with them .... I am so grateful for Kathy's love of photography for her and Bruce are truly the historians of our group. Each event we've been to we print selected pictures and I create an album .... THANK YOU GUYS FOR PUTTING OUR MEMORIES ON PAPER. That night after a 'memorable' steak dinner (Marc, quit beating yourself up - believe me, we've had worse) we went out the side door and DD brought out his guitar and, well, I mean, who else gets their own private entertainer .... he has the voice as smooth as that cognac he was drinking .... always will be his #1 fan and adore that he is always so kind. Quinny and DD .... we thank you so much.... You guys are so special to us .... the next morning was so hard to say goodbye - out here in the land of fruits and nuts we just say adios amigos .... lol ..... but my heart was hurting ..... We have such a special bond with all of you .... Bob/Paula ... Chad/Ro .... the Zilligan boys .... Whit and Coyote Karen, George ..... Nice to see Giz and PJ again and make new friends that will be old friends at the next event. Just want to say thank you for the beautiful red shirts .... they are one of the prettiest we've had .... Okay, I'm sure I've missed a lot of people to thank .... I'm not going to get all sloppy here, some of you and you know who you are - we share a VERY special, unbreakable by distance bond - Any of you coming to San Diego, let us know .... make San Diego your last stop and we will bring you into the mountains away from the coast .... the nearest venue to us is the golf course and a casino .... lol Love you all .... till we meet again .... thank you, thank you, thank you.
