Told Mike he should get this & he did. Looks cool but don't necessarily recommend it for a number of reasons, including that it must have come by row boat from Thailand as it took 2 months to get here.

Is it the right size or did you have to get a larger size. Is it long sleeve or short sleeve. Wow must've either really wanted it or forgot you ordered it for taking 2 months to get here.

Short sleeve, right size. Had no idea it would take that long, been wondering what was up. They didn't get a good review because of that...

Hey Kim what's the fabric 100% cotton or mixed. My understanding is if it gets shipped by boat you will get an item when the boat ships.... so if order something today and boat ships this week your lucky, but if the next boat don't ship for 6 weeks then ya wait! Plus if item was not made and ready to ship when you order it may have gotten held up in the assembly line.... then it needs to be shipped to you here in the USA still ....who knows, but it's a nice looking shirt in picture! Nice shirt,,,,, Where ordered from? eBay or can you provide a link? Does it have a pocket?

Thanks
p z

From a post office perspective, nothing is shipped by boat any longer unless is company large bulk orders. Generally US Customs is one of the biggest delays.

Well, I was being sarcastic/joking about the boat aspect, that's why I said "row boat." :spin: I have no idea exactly how it was shipped, just that it took a long time & it says "Made in Thailand." But I am impressed with the knowledge base on here about how shipping by boat works! :thumbsup

It came from eBay, is 100% cotton, & doesn't have a pocket.

Yes I agree Fireduck maybe not by boat but even if it's air shipped your probably right Customs check ups could be a real hold up too! [emoji6]

We took Crimson Pearl to a local Car Show Saturday.

She won the "Sponsors Choice" trophy.

Since I am going in for eye lid surgery, I decided to put the battery tender on the xlr. Because I don't know how long till I can drive her. It might be 3 days or 2 wks. But I rather be safe because I probably can't be bending down a whole lot.

I hope to get the xlr out and rolling next week or this weekend. I filled her tank up with gas and put her on the battery tender 2 wks ago. I had minor eye surgery and brow lift. I'm getting cabin fever now and I'm sure if my xlr could talk she would say let's get out and go somewhere. I hate to see her sit this long when I'm home. I have a follow up appointment on the 9th of sept and have to have my blood checked (6th) before I have to see my dr for my yearly check up on the 13th. So looking forward to getting her out and stretching her legs. Lol

Labor Day - 28 years ago!

It was Labor Day 1989, 28 years ago, when I purchased my Chevrolet S-10 Cameo pickup.

Still have it, has about 40k miles. Obviously garage kept.

Friends came to visit.

Mt Rocket (Rod) and Cindy came to see me this week on their way to Arizona. They showed me pictures of those able to attend the get together in Montana that they put together. Pop Big Guy and Rogene and a few others I knew. I have not been on the forum for a long time due to a bad fall. I broke my right hip in four places on 01/01/16. A few months later it was discovered I have no spaces in my Cervical and Lumbar parts of my spine. The disc are totally gone, I have shrunk six and a half inches. Standing, sitting, walking are all very painful. The doctors all say the same thing, there is nothing that can be done. It is very difficult to get in and out of a car. Once in, I am able to drive, especially enjoy "Little Bugger" with the top down. Now have a special cushion for my chair that has the cut out for the tail bone so am able to sit a little longer and be on the computer. Hope to check in more often now.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Hope you feel better soon.

I know I’ve said this before. But for all you newbies here. Watching counts customs and see in the far back of his warehouse a silver xlr. Looks like he’s put on a mesh grill. This is the second time I’ve seen this car while watching this program. But the first one was when he was customizing a Lamborghini for a rock star. This episode I’m watching now is mustang madness s7 ep09 2017.
Anyone here live in Vegas that can confirm this?

Wow what a great day today at the azalea City car show/cruise in. Lots of vehicles we even had a show boat. Here is just a handful of rides that attended. A total attendance was around 90 vehicles.

Hawkeye, Thanks for the pictures. I went to a car show myself today at the Palm Springs CA airport. There were some beautiful cars but I figure California is known for their rides.

The weather was perfect except a little shower 3 miles from the destination mom and I were going to. We went to 3 Bananas-Great Food with a Water View in crescent lake Florida. My mom wanted to drive the cadillac so we were topdown most of the way. Then a shower hit us. So we had to put the top up. After we left we went down hywy 17 to hywy 40. Going through the western end if Ormond Beach. We left St. Augustine works golf village around 1:30 and got back home a little after 5 pm Sunday. So I think the xlr had a great run. We took 95 to hywy 207 towards palatial. Then went south on 17 all the way to the restaurant. We left there after lunch heading south still on 17 till we hit hywy 40. Then went east till we got to 95. Then went north towards home.

Well it that time of year for the vehicles. So I called up the car detailer mom and I use. (We set up an appointment weeks ago). Ended up being a perfect day today. The guy came out to the house (usually he has a helper but not on sundays). For any local northeast Florida ppl I recommend this guy very much. He’s cleaned our cars for many years now. So here are some pics. Now if I can just keep mine in the garage till sat 11/18/2017 I’ll be happy. Because I am attending a local car show.
