Welcome to the Cadillac XLR Forums!

XLR Gathering in Colorado 2010

So where are the bulk of people staying? We just purchased a 2005 XLR and would like to meet up with everyone.

Brian
Cheyenne, WY

CMR stands for Cheyenne Mountain Resort

Hampton Inn is @ Lake and I 25, as is the Residence Inn, both not too far from Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

Hopes this helps and that you will be able to make it to Colorado Springs.

Yes. We were in the Springs a few weeks ago test driving a few at a couple of the dealerships. Luckily, my girlfriend found a very nice low mileage one in Omaha. So we flew out and drove it back. Only about 13K miles on it now!

This is going to be a lot of fun .... more cars! And, I'm getting lonesome for my Maurader's too.

ok. Not sure if we can stay the whole week, but will try to be down there. Only about 150 miles away for us.

Hope you can make it, even for a few days. It's a lot of fun with a great group of people.

Kathy :)

With alot of the MM's going to Colorado Springs in May, the BG/Nashville spring trip may be too much for the wallet with this economy. We would be up for a southern Indiana drive on any of the weekends.

The BG/Nashville and or Choo-Choo town trip could be planned for the fall. Just my opinion:blinzel:
Yeah, Cubby .... you're right .... gotta save some $$ for the casino's in Colorado ... lol

I think I've highjacked this thread ... oh, well, too late ... ;) ... has anyone got anything planned to do in Colorado? I'm not a good leader, but I'm a great participator .. Ray and I will follow you anywhere!

I don't know about the time that we're all together in Colorado Springs,,,,, But my wife just booked us for a hotel in Durango the night of the 30th and 1st, after we're done in the Springs. She wants to ride the Durango/Silverton train. She booked the 9 hour round trip train ride.

You will enjoy the Durango/Silverton area. Beautiful part of the state. :rocker:

You will enjoy that area. We will be going through the area the first weekend of May going through Durango, Silvertan and Ouray enroute to Ridgeway where we attend their annual hot air balloon and car rally.

You know Jamsto - this "rendezvous" will not be the same without you and the Blue Bunny. I hope at the last minute that you guys can come over for a day or so .... it would be so great to see you again. :blinzel:

We will have to wait and see. May and June are a busy time at the Police Dept as we have several events going on with a lot of overtime required.

We have a regional soccer tournament and a lot of movie and tv filming going in which require additional police resourses, so it is hard to get time off at that time of the year.

I know ... Ray had to put in for a time off slot month's ago. All of that doesn't stop me from wanting to see you guys attend .... :blinzel:

I have been looking at our route on Google. Looks pretty straight forward until Denver . When coming in from the north is it better to pay the toll and use E-470 than Hwy 25?

25 is a great highway and takes you directly through to Colorado Springs...

Just stay on I25, the toll road is a total rip off and takes you out of your way.
