Granny with an XLR

Our son Jonathan and his wife just had their first baby - our first grandchild! Some of you (Schooley) have already made fun of my new designation as "Grandma" but for all us with XLRs - we never have to act like old ladies, do we?

When I'm out with the top down and my "platinum" hair flying, I just trust that if I drive by fast enough they will think they just saw a really hot chick go by.

Here's a picture of Leyla Marie Kinney, born Dec. 6. It's going to be a very special holiday with this new little elf!

Congrats 'Grandma Quinny' & 'Grandpa Diamand Del' It should truely be a special Christmas for the Kinney family!! I'm sure you'll have more photos to bring down next month for us all to see!!

What a doll! Nope NO old ladies here, just hot chicks!
I had my granddaughter in my XLR this summer, I had stopped by to visit and her mom who was having a stressful day (pregnant with second at the time) so I grabbed the car seat and strapped it in the XLR and Evelyn (nearly 2 years old at the time) came home with Granny! Discovered that XLR's have no seat tie down loops, had to settle for a seat belt tie down, not ideal but I am less than 10 mile away: not totally sure if that is legal here in Ontario or not? Her next ride in the XLR will be when she is big enough that she can go in a regular booster which should be next summer.
Anyway, now I have two granddaughters! Violet turned 2 months old on Dec 8th!

Quinn, congrats on your new grandbaby! I'm sure you will be the coolest grandma ever. It's good to hear that both mom & baby are doing well. She will make Christmas even more special.

You could be double parked and there is no soul that could think that you were anything less than the hottest chick ever.
Congats on the joy of being the hottest Grandmother I have ever met....Have a great Christmas Miss Grandma Hottie....

Oh, also make sure those car seats are correctly strapped into that hotrod SRX you are driving.....
