Travel routes & caravans for Carolinas Trip

I guess it's about time to start mapping the route. Need to figure out where and when to join the main group.

Don't know if I want to spend the night in Indy before, but will definitely stay the night after. Seems there is an MVP Track Day on Sunday at Putnam Park.

We have a couple of options out of Indy for our driving route to Ashville, NC.
Option #1; I-65 south to Louisville, KY and pick up I-64 east to Lexington, KY and pick up I-75 south to Knoxville, TN and pick up I-40 east to Asheville, NC.

Option #2; I-74 east to Cincinnati, OH and pick up I-75 south to Knoxville, TN and pick up I-40 east to Asheville, NC.

Maybe some of you guys can join us along the way.

I will be heading down to Indy on Friday, Apr. 8th. I'm staying overnight with my cousin, Alan - so whichever way we want to head out of Indy is fine with me.
If there are any others heading down to Indy on Friday (from around the Illinois or Iowa areas), let me know, maybe we can hook up in IL.

I SOOO need a change in venue - need to see some blue skies and green grass! Its been a very long winter.

We will be leaving from the Hampton Inn Carmel (12197 N. Meridian Street, Carmel 46032, 317-843-1100) @ 8:00 am Saturday April 9.

Make sure you have a full tank of fuel

We will take I-74 east to Cincinnati, OH and pick up I-75 south to Knoxville, TN and pick up I-40 east to Asheville, NC.

Don't forget to bring along your FRS radios. They can be very useful when caravaning.
