What is Black Box above Passenger Window

Still learning about Crimson Pearl 05. What is the black box at the top of the passenger window? About 7"w x 2" d x 2" h. Also, is there anyway to turn off the ACC? I'd rather do my own braking

It is the OnStar antenna module. No, you can not turn off the Adaptive Cruise Control.

On my 2006 I can shut off the acc by the engagement switch on the column, or by tapping the brakes. Did I understand the question?

Just curious Bruce... if you were to unplug the ACC unit, would it disengage the entire cruise control or just the radar control portion?

I believe he was asking about turning off the Adaptive Cruise and just having regular cruise control. Not possible.

The moisture sensor for the wipers is located behind the inside rearview mirror and is part of the windshield.
