Limo oh yea brings back memories but it would take a few drinks to pry those out of me.

I got an offer in the mail today from Harrahs that will allow me to extend it to friends and family but they do not give me the comp. This would include and the only hotels I would be interested in Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas and Rio. When we have established a date I will call them and find out what the comp is and send information to those of you that may be interested. You may get two nights free and if you get Caesars it would be a very good deal. More info to come.

Marc and I have no comp, we don't gamble, just slots! So you all pick the Hotels and we will follow. I just loved the rooms at the Venetian was all so we will leave it to the Comp people to pick and let us know.
Will look for flights and more than likely leave on the 3rd. Let ya's know when I get info. Can't wait!!!!

Supa & I will stay at an MGM property; as that is where our comps are at. I prefer the Monte Carlo, but can stay anywhere--provided you all let me get my 'hours' in at the tables!!!

(Plus side of Monte Carlo--there's a Fatburger right across the street!!!!)

That is better than what we have right now here. Our temp is 41 cloudy and rainy. It is winter already. Oh what happened to our summer.

I called there comp for friends is only 10% off the posted net price which for Caesars was will over $200 per night. The other problem is the first weekend there is something going on in Vegas and you cannot get a room on Saturday night. Can we re-think the dates? Monday tuesday and wednesdays in Vegas are not good they shut all the machines down Thursday thru sunday are the best days to go. The following weekend there appears to be no problem. Does someone have another solution or suggestion on some other hotel that has openings for Saturday.?

I had NO PROBLEM using my comps and booked a room at The Paris. (my comps are thru Harrahs properties) .... they still had plenty of rooms available.

(Fred, the only hotel that was not using comps was Cesar's. Vegas never shuts their machines down ..... or did I read that wrong????? )

There are over 150,000 rooms just on the Vegas strip. Suggest you check some of the MGM/Mirage properties, as they are the largest in Vegas. I had no problem booking my stay with the Monte Carlo. There is also MGM Grand, New York New York, Bellagio, The Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island, Luxor and Excalibur. If you can't get your comps where you normally stay; perhaps it's time to change to someone else!!

The weekend before is Thanksgiving Day weekend and the weekend after is no good for a lot of the people. After that you start getting into the Christmas holiday--with many having company parties etc to attend. The week we picked seems to be the best.

The "old" Vegas strip (Fremont Street) has some realllly cheap rooms. I've always enjoyed playing blackjack at the Golden Gate - their Saturday night rate is $39!!!! Almost everything (on the old strip) is pretty cheap (Plaza, Vegas Club, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, Fitzgerald's, etc).
