I didn't know you were a songwriter! I have golf league on Tuesday night, but knowing you & MT Rocket will be in town, I'll be done early and we'll paint the town.....oh wait we will be leaving early the next day.

Aw what the *ell, we'll do it anyway!! Looking forward to seeing you all again.

We will have five XLR's on Wed. morning heading into Indy to pick up a few more.

Should be a BLAST!!! Can hardly wait to see everyone again!! A friend of mine that lives in Miles City (140 miles east of Billings) rebuilt an XLR-V shortly after I finished mine (also owns a collision repair shop). He'll be in BG, staying at the Holiday Inn.
But since he's visiting friends and relatives on the way down, we won't be able to link up until BG. His loss...

We're heading out Friday morning to Bannack State Park, a ghost town, 250 miles west on Billings. Then to Butte, MT for the Montana Folk Festival. The last three years Butte hosted the National Folk Festival and we took it in last year... really fun... music, music, and more music. Back to Billings on Sunday morning to repack and regroup, then head out to BG, via Sioux City, IA to meet up with Madmac, then on to Cubby and Marion's place. BG... here we come... hope they're ready (for Marion, that is!!!)

I'm not allowed there any more. Yes, it has something to do with the bull horn. Something like using it to say it's in the hole. How about that another place I have been banned from.

OK, Those coming from the southeast (God's Country) if interested in traveling via XLR convoy I start from Orlando and will likely blaze through Atlanta, Chattanooga and then Nashville toward Kentucky. Anyone interested in falling into the stream is welcome.
Let me know and we'll try to coordinate it.....

We're in Rapid City... meeting up with Madmac and Thirsty4. On the road again in the morning to Sioux City, IA. I LOVE the way this car feels on the road at 85-90MPH on the two lanes... talk about the looks as you pass the slow pokes!!! Didn't see any patrols either - yet anyway...

I am wanting to make sure about times and meeting in Mt Vernon. One post states probable meet at 10 or 11 am and one says 1:30. I didn't see a response to 1:30 and am unsure if this is two different groups. My girlfriend works til 7 am thursday and that would make 10 or 11 out of our plans. Mapquest says 7 hours which makes 1:30 possible. Barely, but I usually beat mapquest times. I don't want anyone waiting for me thought-I will take the southern route if that is the case. Please let me know what the latest trip itinerary is. Thanks alot for the invite either way. Mike

It would probably be about 1:30 when we are in Mt Vernon. Those from up north (Chicago area) meet up with me in Mattoon, we have lunch, then head that way.

You REALLY don't know how much your words mean - to know that we will be missed at HomeComing is so touching ....

This was the day we were to leave San Diego ... our 4-day trip ....it was San Diego to AZ (meet up w/JetBoy) to NM (Jean & Jim) to Okalahoma City, to Memphis to BG .... always a short drive to BG so that we could go to the car wash and get Lola all cleaned up .... what a sight to always see a line up of dirty XLR's getting the road grime off. Somewhere I have some pictures that Kathy took of the cars getting showered ... I think that was in Colorado????

You guys are going to have the best time ever .... Wah-Bah's ... they make a great Bloody Mary Stop for ice cream ....

Well, yep, wish I could split myself in two and be there .... My mom did an excellent job of instilling 'family first' in me .... I will never regret being here to help out with my grands and my kids .... but that doesn't mean that part of my heart is with you guys too.

I know you will miss seeing Ray down in the parking lot, soaked in sweat, at freaking 5 in the morning with his 'case' cleaning up Lola ..... haha .... that was his favorite part ... parking lot talk.

Okay - I'm done .... have fun .... I am glad that all of you get to go are stickin' together ... Raise a glass for me ...

BTW ... I've heard that SOME people have already started that .... (CUBBY, Marion, Rod & MM) .....
