Ok this has been dragging on for just over a year. MT Rocket will be here at my house tommorow for a week of mountain driving in British Columbia, and before he leaves I will be giving him $235.00 to donate towards this brick on my behalf. If Daves numbers are correct that should put us within a couple of Benjamin's away. Just don't tell Thirsty 1. Someone south of the 49th might as well get the tax deduction. Time now for someone to put some lead in their pencil and start putting a design together.

The "Pledge" amount is at the top of the first page in this thread (see quote below). I keep it edited whenever someone indicates to me that they have made a contribution or a pledge. There are a few "anonymous" contributions (which is why the total at the top does not match the list of people's pledges). As stated earlier, at this point, it doesn't really matter what people pledge - the important balance is now what the museum has received. As soon as I hear from Megan on her balance, I will post it here so everyone knows where we stand.

When I get back on Monday, I'll call Megan and finish this off with an additional $50 from myself. The pledged balance should not be taken care of; now, all we have to do is get those pledges paid up!!!!

I assume your anonymous funds are not included in the Museum's total, because no matter how you total up the numbers listed it's $2500--$100 short

The only thing I have to show "paid" was by someone telling me (via pm or post) that they paid - I do not have any confirmation from the museum that any particular person paid (privacy restrictions keep that info confidential with the museum). The anonymous donations totaled about $150 - but again, I have nothing to confirm that everyone who said they paid - paid. That is why we need to rely SOLELY on the $'s that Megan is reporting to me.

I will take care of reminding those that have committed to donating toward the brick with a PM or email - great idea. Thanks.

OK XLR Member's I just order my 4x8 brick & join the NCM as a member for $150 and Megan confirmed that we are paid in full and that any thing that is GM or Cadillac is allowed on the brick, they have used all these logo's, ect... on hats shirts & ect... Megan said it will be ok to use what ever we wish! Since it's not for resale and it's a donation, makes it completely legal also! She is holding all 4x8 brick that are being ordered now that are to be put with the large XLR brick so they all get placed at the same time around it!
Now one more thing we had Appx. 33 member's donate towards the brick but as of awhile ago still only 24 votes you all have a say in this, as Dave & Bruce mentions early if you do not like any of the quotes then select none of these so we can please move on!
NCM is waiting on our final art work to get started!
