Welcome to the Cadillac XLR Forums!

Vegas Baby

Heck yeah, we're here! So good to be back together ... seems like we were never apart.
So far we're just comparing our losses ... :squint: ... No big winners YET ....
The weather is COLD, my MidWest buddies tell me "it's nice" .... no, it's cold.
So, mostly it's been driink, eat, drink, gamble, gamble, drink, gamble, well, you get the picture, and actually it's me doing most of the gambling - I won't tell who's doing the drinking (it's Mar) ...
Tomorrow we are going Down Town to see if we will have better "luck" .... Quinny has taken charge of the camera ... and Cubby's cell camera has taken a few ... I am truthful when I tell you that it is just very difficult for me to take pictures and gamble at the same time. Me and 'Quinny, mostly we just look for our boys ....
Miss you guys - your ears should be burning, we mentioned all your names ... wishing you were here.

Quinn....
Don't let me down!
And someone needs to keep an eye on Supa! ;)

Kathy

Hope all of you had a really good time and won lots of money!!! We are looking forward to seeing all the picture and hearing the stories "oh wow" or is it what happens in Vegas stays in Vega?:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle

That is what is written across my forehead ....

'Cant speak for anyone else .... but we have only added to the Las Vegas coffers :pat:

We went Down Town last night, and we donated to their area as well - but the lights were fabulous. I think Quinny (the only winner I know for sure) took a picture .... Dave is here.

Tonight we are going to meet SilverX for dinner at Mon Ami Gabi (ohh-la-la) ... and celebrate Quinny's birthday too.

Mar is being VERY good - I think she misses her MidWest Marauder buds, you're not around to encourage her .....you guys are all bad :reddevil.

Ray is still fighting that damn cold and trying to be a good sport, but he really likes it when it's time to come up to the room ... it's sniff, sniff, cough, cough and Listerine. It's not a lot of fun to be sick in Las Vegas -

Well, time to go check out the malls btw the hotels ....
I think I need to buy a heavier sweatshirt .... it is freaking cold in the desert - but pretty.

We're glad everyone is having a good time. Tell JP we said hello.

Kathy

We had a really nice dinner at the top of the Eifel Tower ... JP and Joann were there and it was so good to see them again - I kept talking "Colorado" .... so, well, hopefully we'll see them there. Cubby surprised Quinny with a FABULOUS whipped cream confection ... it was wonderful!

So, home tomorrow ... and not really a loser after all - Bally's was VERY good to me today, but I got smart and came to my room .... Now, if I could only find Ray!

Got back late last night/early this morning and trying to get back into the swing of things at work. Had a great time seeing RA & Ray, JP & Joanne and of course our Wisconsin neighbors, Quinn & Dave. Dinner was awesome Saturday night, with probably one of the best views of the strip at night. Supa & I started out early donating to the casinos, but managed to start winning day by day. Diamond Del & I pulled an all nighter/early morning after dinner on Sat and I managed to get on the plus side. On the weather note, it seemed like fall to us (mid to high 50's); we were looking forward to some 70 or 80's but wasn't that bad. Don't know why those west coasters were complaining :lol::lol:

NASCAR funs would have loved it there Thursday afternoon--they were there for their championship celebration and Las Vegas Blvd. (the strip) was shut down for the cars doing burnouts at every opportunity!! I think Quinn got a few pics :dunno:. The National Rodeo Championships were also in town, so there were a lot of hats and boots wandering around. We all practiced our 'Howdy Pardner' at any chance.:laugh:

RA was right, Supa was rather mild the whole weekend; I guess she missed the other MM's. Couldn't even get her to go ride the mechanical bull. Most of the pics I took on the cellphone camera are kinda dark and probably couldn't be posted here anyway--:laugh:I sent one to Cadillac Tech & Photo Girl, maybe they will post it, but like speedway said--"what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"

Someone start planning the next get together!!

Glad you made it back safe and sound...
Yea, it seems the west coasters do seem to complain when the red mark dips down a bit. Wonder what they'd do up here... we've hit the deep freeze this week; a HIGH of 0 today, down to 12 BELOW ZERO tonight... gradually warming up the rest of the week. Predictions of 38 above for next Monday... seeing will be believing. Needless to say, the XLR is away for the winter, hibernating until Spring.

Well, MT ... haha, we wouldn't be up there during winter - because you're right, we are complaining now and it's just rain. But, it's rained all day and finally the storm has passed through and we can see the blue patches, it's 59 degrees - and we are very happy about that.

It was cold enough for us in Las Vegas, those desert temps dropped down into the low 50's and brrrrrrrr ..... no thanks .... not for me!

We can see snow on the mountains in the distance, that's close enough.

No battery tender for Lola - we only use those on the golf cart :blinzel:

Still waiting for pictures from Vegas....:)

Didn't you get the one I sent from my phone? (Supa Dancing!!):laugh:

Quinny was in charge of photos--you'll have to get on her about it.

I'll check our camera tonight and see if there are some to post.

Still waiting for pictures from Vegas....:)

Flight to Vegas

I know, I know - I've been naughty for not sharing sooner. Please don't tell Santa.
