San Antonio, Texas "Blue Bunny" Rally May 20--May 23, 2009

Glad to have you join the party!

WE Made our reservations at the Hilton. We will be also staying Saturday night hopefully others will also. Ingrid got so excited looking at the pictures and making the rerservation that we are ready to pack up and go right now. Whats really nice about this run is we will be able to put faces to threads and get to know all of you.

We would like to thank the organizers of the event we both know how much time and effort goe's in to planning.

I do look forward to seeing you both at the San Antonio event this coming May. The hotel has three restaurants and bars. The Ibiza Patio Restaurant and Bar has a live band every Friday and Saturday nights. Also the Tex's Riverwalk Sports Bar also has live bands every Friday and Saturday nights. And the Durty Nelly's Irish Bar has nightly sing-a-longs every night plus all you can eat peanuts. Might be fun hearing some of our members trying to sing after a few drinks!!!
We will also have a ceremony Thursday night to add members to our XLR "Blue Bunny" Club. And yes many of us will be staying Saturday night. My wife and I will.

Hopefully Jim and Jean can join us in Las Cruces and bulk up the caravan. Having two badges in the caravan has been proven to work in the past

Unfortunately we aren't able to plan that far ahead yet. I am in the process of attempting to retire from the State and go to work for one of the tribal police departments. We will have to wait and see closer to the event. This situation has also eliminated our ability to make our annual trek to BBB for Thanksgiving. If we are able to make it, we could join up in Las Cruces. I would hope that we wouldn't have to utilize our badges again to avoid heavy speeding fines.

I will be truly sad if you and Jean can't make it. As the organizer of the first Rendevous and father and mother of the concept it will be sad if you have to miss this meet.

Maybe you can squeeze out enough time to at least see us in Las Cruces. You seem to know all the good places to eat in New Mexico

Its not certain that we can't make it. It's just that we can't confirm yet that we will be able to attend. We will have to wait until closer to the event before we can make reservations, etc. If not, maybe we will able to meet up in Las Cruces for dinner. At this point we can't even make holiday plans. Hope to know more within the next few days as I am scheduled to meet with the interview board tomorrow.

Accepting Reservations at the reduced rate until March 31, 2009.

I just received an email from the reservation department. Our block of rooms at the Hilton are nearly sold out. I can enlarge the group however between now and March 31st, 2009. After that the rate would go up to the regular price. If anyone tries to register and are told that it is sold out please post immediately or send me a pm so that I can expand the size of the blocked rooms.

I will pick a meeting place outside of Tucson where we can meet. You should be made aware that Tucson has all exits closed because of widening the highway both east and west and putting in new bridges as well as new on and off ramps. Its a bit of a mess. This is not due to be completed before we leave. It makes no difference to Ingrid and I where we stop overnight so what ever you decide is find with us.

Sounds good to me, but I have been the leader for the last time. I'm so tired of being laughed at. What you don't know is I purposely do that so I can find you again by doing 130 mph and it also makes Ray crazy.
