No, I'm still looking for a good deal - none are to be found, unless I stay in "old" Downtown. I'd rather stay at the Paris - it's close to everyone, and they have a fantastic breakfast buffet! Drinks were also easy to get (attentive cocktail waitresses). And the last room i had there was on the corner - I could see the Bellagio fountains perfectly!

Do you have a rewards card if you do all you have to do is call there marketing department (get that number online) and they will give you the same deal we got. I would suggest you make reservations if you have to cancel you have 48 hours to do so and at least that way you will be sure you have a room.

I just looked online Paris.com they have a special today "ONLINE ONLY" $430 arrive Dec 3 depart Dec 6. Better hurry or it will be gone.

I just checked Monte Carlo you have to go to online montecarlo.com then check home at top then check book then put dates Dec 3 Depart Dec 6 the price "ONLINE" is $349.85 hurry or you will miss this. You only have to go across the street to Paris for Breakfast Buffet.

Rich, I called the Paris to see if I could get you a free room - they said NO .... we haven't been there in 2 years. But they said you could have the Friends and Family rate - that was still $395. Have you thought about a little off strip. We used to stay at The Orlean's (home of the NASCAR drivers) and always loved it, the rooms, and the food ....

DD and I are coming Dec. 2 to rest up before all you crazy guys get there. We're staying at the Monte Carlo, too. We don't have any definite plans... one of us likes to gamble and one of us isn't too excited about it. So I'll be looking for some other stuff to do after I lose my roll of quarters!

We've only been there once before - for the Vegas Grand Prix a couple of years ago, so we are looking for advice from the old pros.

I'm still working on it. Continental has apparently filled up their Rewards seats, so I'll have to pay for the flight. I tried to book it Thursday night, and was VERY unhappy to find no Rewards travel available! ARRGH!!!!

However, my neighbor (and ocasional partner in crime) and I have a mutual friend who is attending a convention in Vegas that weekend, so.........

And, to add to my crappy luck, the President of our local retail division was laid off today. Guess who's supposed to take over his work?!?!? ME!!!!!!! ARRGH AGAIN!

AND, the owner of the company was upset when I was asked to work last Saturday with no pay (even though I work on Friday with no pay). WTF?!?!?!?

AND, after cleaning the house all night for the second showing I have on the house tomorrow, the Realtor called and postponed the appointment! ARRGH FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!!!

I got a letter that I am selected for Jury duty. I wont know if I will have to serve until November 23. Were hoping this does not effect the trip.

Yes, you can get a "postponement" - the courts are happy to give you that. They just won't "excuse" you altogether for a trip. Call the number on your summons -

Las Vegas .... 1 month from today! (Start saving your $$!)

Go ahead and add my wife, Cindy, and I to the "maybe" list. I'm still waiting to see if I can coordinate with my business trip that week to Salt Lake City. I have to head up to Las Vegas on Friday, the 4th, for an inventory meeting, but trying to see if work will allow me to fly Cindy out there Friday night for the weekend. I want to help her celebrate her "special" birthday VEGAS-Style. Her birthday is Dec. 3rd.

How fun to meet new forum members - ANYONE reading this, please think about going to Las Vegas and meeting up with us .... even if it's just for a quick drink - I know there are some members who live driving distance and can come - no one has to stay at the same hotel, no formal plans - just come and let's meet up and get to know each other. ​

Where could it be more fun than Vegas? Well, Colorado Springs will be an ultimate trip, that's for sure - but that is still 7 months out.​
