Mid West Caravan to San Antonio,TX

For all you M&Ms leaving from Indy that should be pulling out at 8 not getting there at 8 or we will be running behind before we get started. Get there early and we can meet and greet over coffee.

Yes, we need to leave the rest area @ 8:00 am. It will be tough staying on schedule with this group. It will take an hour just to get the cars fueled.

Me too Rod. Let's go with Ruthie's "Goin to Las Cruces".
I put my information in there already and a meeting place in Tucson.
Ruthie, Jaime is going to be made, she's a Cracker Barrel fan like me, so we will have to convert her.
But... Ruthie beat me to the punch. She called it "Goin to Las Cruces"

Oh well... I've always been a day late and a dollar short anyway:chuckle:chuckle

Hey MM's time to go hijack the Las Cruces thread:chuckle:laugh::laugh::lol:

See you all Monday morning in Effingham!!!!

Meeting in Effingham

For meeting in Effingham, I'd like to suggest exiting I 70W at exit 160 (Rt32). At the end of the ramp turn right and there is a Steak and Shake right there on the west side of the road.

Although I cannot go the rest of the way I'd like to see the MM's off.

Bruce, it should be about 2 hr 15 min from the west side of indy even if you go slow (legal speed). So if you leave at 8 (EST) that would put you here at 9:15 (CST). Kevin will have to get Marion up early!

Bob

It's about the same distance for us. Whit & Karen are meeting us in Bourbonnais at 7:00am and we will head south. I'll call you when we are about 1/2 hour out so you can meet up with us. Make sure you bring Paula with you!! Marion will get up when she knows we a going somewhere to party:lol::lol:

Thanks for the information Bob. It will be nice to see you again. Wish you were heading south with us.

Bruce

You guys know me oh to well. I am not a morning person but I will make it. I'll just sleep while Cubby drives. At the rest stops, I'll get a little wake me up out of little Phil, if Cubby has room for little Phil :chuckle:chuckle. :naughty:

Oh.... Marion .... don't count on a little Phil ... Ray spent 20 minutes outside yesterday trying to pack a "mock" trunk. He was going :willy_nilly:! I've got to start making "either/or" decisions. :pat:

When we rolled into R3 last year, we just found the local WalMart and bought a couple of those Styrofoam coolers ... they worked perfect ... and got the ice from the hotel restaurant (they're happy to help) ... . The only strange part was having to go to a "liquor store" to buy the beer/wine .... I didn't know that prohibition was alive and well ...

Okay I AM NOT hijacking this thread ... well, just a little ...

I just wanted to tell Bob & Paula how much we'll miss you at this R4 .... and I am hoping that these last few days you might find a way to come ... heck, you've already got a meeting point set up .... :rocker: You've still got 4 days to change your mind!

Going to need the styrofoam coolers for when we get there. Little Phil only holds maybe four beers. Little Phil is for the rest stops. :chuckle:chuckle:D
